About FMF Training
The Families Moving Forward (FMF) Program partners with The Florida Center Training Institute to offer FMF Program Training. FMF Program Training is the two-step process used to train clinicians in use of the scientifically validated FMF Program intervention. FMF Program Training begins with FMF Specialist Training. FMF Specialist Training is a six-day, comprehensive, and virtual training managed and conducted by The Florida Center Training Institute. FMF Specialist Training is followed by FMF Intervention Fidelity (IF) Training, which includes 12 hours per clinician (minimum) to 18 hours per clinician (maximum) of supportive, virtual, consultation as you move through your first FMF intervention with a client family, managed and conducted by Seattle Children’s.
After successfully completing all requirements, clinicians can independently deliver the FMF Program as an FMF Specialist. Access to all materials is available to trained providers through the FMF Portal on this website.
We partner with FASD United to help you locate families if needed, and to maintain a database of individuals who are trained to deliver the FMF Program intervention in order to bridge the gap between families in need and FASD-informed and FMF Trained providers who may need their help.
We do not train trainers or training centers at this time.
